Identify business opportunities & potential prospects.
- Identify prospects by using directories and other prepared listings.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Call prospective customers by operating telephone equipment and other telecommunications technologies.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Influence customers to buy services and merchandise by following a prepared sales talk to give service and product information and price quotations.
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers.
- Use scripts to provide information about the company’s product features, prices, etc. andpresent their benefits
- Completes orders by recording names, addresses, and purchases; referring orders for filling.
- Secure information by completing database backups.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Generate and close several leads per day based on monthly targets.
- Set appointments with prospective customers based on associates’ schedules.
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff.
- Refer customer complaints to supervisor for quality control.
- Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales (lead generation preferred).
- 1+ years’ experience telemarketing a plus.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Excellent phone manner and articulation.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM (words per minute).
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to cope with rejection on a daily basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Part-time hours: 48 per week

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
