Area Sales Manager

**JOB SCOPE**
1. Directing activities of assigned sales representatives/executives in building relationships with key contacts (e.g., buyers, store managers) and providing customers with objective and trustworthy analysis of their business in order to ensure that customers carry an excellent portfolio of Power Root products that receive optimal exposure at the retail store level.
2. Proactively understanding the customer's needs and developing business solutions to meet Power Root’s and customer requirements.
3. Conducting regular business reviews and follow-up on sales activity, new products, customer service, receivables, and claims.
4. Interpreting sales reports to identify problems and new opportunities for Power Root and the customer(s).
5. Selling / achieve assign sales target - actively expand our business opportunities
6. Merchandising - display PRMK’s products, placement POSM, price tag maintenance & execution FEFO / products rotation & freshness / hygiene maintenance
7. Executing company programs - sell out, off take, buy in, consumers & trade engagement
8. Maximising customer investment to generate best ROI
9. Meeting sales, volume and profitability target set by management
10. Working with the sales representatives/executives to identify risks and opportunities and develop customer plans that profitably increase sales, distribution and market share
11. Presenting and activating programs to the customer at regional and/or store level.
12. Leading the development of people and the organization through effective implementation of the performance management system, including individual objective setting, coaching and feedback, performance appraisal, as well as training & development activities, and recruiting.
13. Ensuring that the field sales team has the tools, skills and expertise to deliver results.
14. Providing regular communication and analysis of results to senior management and field sales team.
15. Allocating resources (people/financial) to ensure alignment with business plan.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
1. Possess SPM/Diploma/Degree in any related field
2. Have at least 6 years experience in FMCG companies, especially food manufacturing industry.
3. Managerial level experience for at least 3 years.
4. Able to manage the sales team.
5. Good communication and networking skills.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
