**Purchasing & Event Administrator**
Gochecorp conferences and events management company is headquartered in Penang. We are a team of seasoned event planners and our services cover the entire Malaysia to cater to the diverse needs of local & international clients.
We are looking for a purchasing and event administrator who will primarily be in charge of sourcing and purchasing items required for company events. It is their duty to monitor the company's inventory of supplies, gather and analyze purchase requests, and process purchase orders, resolving issues should there be any. They also negotiate with vendors and suppliers, building positive relationships with them. They also maintain records of all transactions, producing progress reports regularly for a smooth and efficient workflow. A team player who will be actively involved to plan, organize & carry out company events.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Provides administrative support to the office
- Types reports, purchase orders, memos and other documents.
- Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
- Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
- Perform other duties assigned by management/director.
- Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
**Requirements**:
- Able to speak and write in English, Bahasa & Mandarin
- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Meticulous/detail oriented and well organized when carrying out tasks.
- Possess high degree of confidentiality and integrity, tactful and proactive
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
