Business Development Manager

Scope of Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Development department to effectively support the company’s operation.
Primary Duties
- Encompass development and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and business partners.
- Conduct market intelligence research and competitive analysis in order to identify new potential projects and business opportunities, develop strategic market positioning and profiling of competitors.
- Assist Proposal Manager in development of bid proposal especially in areas of client’s requirement, commercial analysis and strategic partnership.
- Lead the input into the business development database not limited to list of prospects, list of clients, list of proposals, meeting report with client ad analysis of prospects.
- Coordinate and manage the monthly business development meeting and follow up on all action items requiring close out.
- Develop and initiate training development plan for department staffs.
- Undertake any other duties as required by the MD from time to time.
- Integrate and/or consider Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) element in all activities to ensure company’s QHSSE objectives and targets are met.
