**Corporate Grade**: Assistant Manager
**Role Context**:
The IT Solutions Delivery Assistant Manager is responsible for system design, development, and implementation of Life Core systems (Life Asia/Life 400/Life J) for Business Units in Asia. They also provide maintenance and support on production systems for these BUs in Asia.
**Purpose**:
The purpose of this role is to ensure successful system delivery, manage project teams, provide technical expertise, and maintain the functionality and integrity of Life Core systems.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Lead and manage system solutions delivery for multiple functionalities.
- Manage and lead medium-scale project teams, allocating resources according to project plans.
- Coach and assign tasks to team members, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Monitor development by vendors and provide integration solutions with other systems.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with IT systems integration teams and conduct feasibility studies.
- Perform full SDLC tasks including system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancements.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years' working experience in Information Technology.
- Sound experience in Life Asia/Life 400/Life J, COBOL, and AS/400 platform.
- Solid Life Insurance Domain knowledge.
- Strong project management skills.
