Vacancy Position**:Duty Manager**
**GENERAL ROLE**
This role is responsible to assist the Front Office Manager / Assistant Front Office Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of Front Office team.
You are responsible for your subordinate(s), providing them the required support, motivation and leadership practices that aligned with the core values of the Company.
You are also required to exemplify your best behavior to your team and work well with other team members in the department/organization and to carry out assignments that are delegated by your superior in a timely manner.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY**:
1. Assist in VIP’s arrival and escort guest to his/her room and to assist the departure upon check-out.
2. Check cleanliness of lobby and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff in proper and orderly appearance and behavior.
3. Check on registration cards of arriving guests and ensures all information should be filled on each cards by the guests.
4. Assist in sending guest messages or faxes.
5. Give the instructions to the Night Reception, during the high occupancy periods, regarding: walk-in guests and release room blocked because of no
- shows.
6. Assist in handling room lock problems.
7. Co-ordinates with all departments concerned in order to maintain Front Office functions properly.
8. Operate the front office computer system in order to assist front office attendants.
9. Checks group department, fit and ensure switchboard makes appropriate wake up calls.
10. Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills for personal development.
11. Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members as well as assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Maintaining confidentiality within the organization and protect any information that classified as confidential.
2. Maintaining honesty and integrity with superior, subordinates and guests.
3. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support hotel operations or events.
4. Complying with the company’s grooming standard.
5. Requires a valid driver’s license and passport.
6. Must be willing to travel to conduct business if required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
