Business Development Manager

Identify new business opportunities through developing new and existing customers’ accounts.
- Identify, develop and secure new business that is profitable to meet the department’s sales targets and key performance indicators
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals
- Manage and handle new RFQ requests and ensuring that the RFQs’ are responded and followed through in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain close business relationship and rapport with customers and potential customers
- Maintain close working relationships will divisions and departments within the group
- To negotiate for contracts and co-ordinate all related activities to ensure the completion of these projects
- Undertake cross selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products and contract logistics
- Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services
- Responsible for effective management and planning of a project through working together with various departments in resource allocation and scheduling, project accounting and control, safety and compliance control and quality standard

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 5 years’ in in logistics, supply chain management or FMGC environment
- Excellent track records in securing and developing key customers accounts
- Strong hunter with the relevant established network and clientele
- High level of customer service ability Excellent planning, problem-solving, collaboration, decision making, and organization skills.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
