JOB SUMMARY
Execute and maintain the management of current and prospective clients’ business requirements for any port & terminal and maritime services solutions to ensure company’s sustainable business growth and maximize the company’s profitability.
Build and manage relationship with clients in pursuing and securing prospective jobs to support the growth agenda.
Research, analyze and consolidate various market data and information by taking cognizance of present and future business trends as inputs in the formulation of business strategy.
Assist in developing client/customers database in identifying new market through country profile, competitor analysis and project strategy for future business opportunity.
Develop business proposals and tender documents. Participate in the detailed discussions with internal legal, financial, operational and technical sources to develop and finalize proposals in line with agreed main terms and principles.
Assist in the formulation “winning” techno-commercial proposition to meet client’s technical and commercial requirements whilst achieving the company’s project economics and risk assessment
Assist in the finalization of contracts for current business and/or existing renewals or extensions and rectify all issues/deviations in the contracts being developed and ensure that all corporate requirements/goals/objectives are fully incorporated in the final contracts
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or in any relevant academic field
At least seven (7) years of relevant working experience preferably in Oil and Gas or Maritime industry.
Possess good knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles and practices of business development, commercial strategies and negotiation, customer relationship management, project management and risk management in maritime/port/Oil & Gas business.
Ability to conduct market research and trends to formulate business strategies and initiatives.
Competent in developing business proposals and tender documents
