Manager, Human Resources

Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) functions ranging from organisational planning, organisational development, employment, training, employee relations, compensation and benefits
**Recruitment**
- Oversee the management of all aspects of our employee lifecycle including sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, promotion until separation
- To prepare all HR related letters and contracts to employees
- To monitor employees’ confirmation and to notify Heads of Department
- To plan and implement recruitment efforts, by identifying the correct strategies for the different positions
- To coordinate with the advertising agencies, online recruitment agencies, employment agencies as and when necessary
- To create, manage, and continuously update a database of all job applicants
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys (up to date strategy). Ensure job descriptions are up to date and in compliance with regulations
- Secure and manage tie-ups with culinary schools, institutions, colleges and universities to recruit interns and fresh graduates
**Payroll**
- Oversee and be responsible for monthly payroll processing, payroll report, statutory submissions and ensure compliance with the relevant government authorities, across the group of companies
- To verify employees’ monthly overtime claims across the group of companies
**Training**
- Manage and implement Training & Development policies & plans for continuous employee development
- In collaboration with the Operations Manager, develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Oversee the onboarding, employee development and ensure organisation SOPs and policies are cascaded to all employees periodically across the group of companies
- Identify & develop talents to support organisational requirements and manage the workforce planning to ensure clarity of roles, standards, performance and the right manpower to support operational requirements and business objectives
- Lead and coach a new team of HR executives and interns
**Performance Appraisal**
- Manage the performance management system which includes KPI setting, performance review processes and timelines across the group of companies
**Administrative**
- Responsible to maintain and review related company policies such as Employment contracts, Employee Handbook and HR policies
- Assist in coordinating company events and welfare programs such as Annual Dinner, Company Trips and any others ie. hotel reservations and logistics
- Manage industrial relations matters, including investigation, domestic inquiry and disciplinary action, suspension and termination of employment
**Job Requirements**
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in F&B, hospitality, retail, or service-oriented industries
- Experience with analysing data to guide strategic employment planning, problem-solver, strong ethical standards
- Additional HR certifications will be a plus
- Well-versed with Employment Act & Industrial Relations Act
- Computer literacy - MS Office & HRIS, Payroll System
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Both verbal and written communication.
