HR Assistant

As an **HR Assistant** at Big Fat Smile Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in supporting the human resources department in various administrative tasks and initiatives. You will contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes within the company. **Responsibilities**:
1. Assist in recruitment and selection processes:
- Assist in conducting reference checks and background verification processes.
2. Support employee onboarding and offboarding:
- Prepare and distribute new hire welcome packages and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Facilitate exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and processing necessary paperwork.
3. Maintain employee records and HR database:
- Update and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in managing the HR database, including data entry and generating reports as needed.
4. Provide HR administrative support:
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, and training programs.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions.
5. Handle employee inquiries and assist with HR-related matters:
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role or internship is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
