**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Commercial Banking (CB) is focused on helping our clients succeed and making a positive difference in our communities. We provide credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.

As a KYC Analyst in CB production Team of Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) you will operate in close partnership with Middle Office and Banking team to provide efficient and timely review for on-boarding of new client & renewal relationships to the JP Morgan infrastructure. You will own the end to end operational KYC activities (such as periodic renewals) of all clients and validate to ensure that all documentation provided are of the highest quality, review the collection and verification of data performed to ensure all KYC records are accurate and complete prior to a final review by the client-facing team.

**Job responsibilities**
- Exhibit the highest standards of customer service with clear transparent communication to the middle office and banker articulating on-boarding requirement and time commitments
- Be the single point of contact to appropriately route all queries for responsible cases, including issues around Political Exposed Persons (PEPs), screening, regulatory, compliance, legal, operational risk
- Analyze AML risks associated with the client from a technical perspective, identify and escalate potential risks and operational issues as appropriate
- Understand and implement KYC standards, guidelines, policies and procedures
- Handle confidential and maintain sensitive client data and documentation
- Collect and verify confidential client data via publicly available and internal sources
- Understand the firm's KYC requirements when completing documentation inclusive of Customer Identification Program (CIP), Minimum Due Diligence (MDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Local Due Diligence (LDD), Specialized Due Diligence (SpDD) and Product Due Diligence requirements (PDD)
- Communicate/escalate issues to management in a timely manner as appropriate
- Build strong engagement with Middle office and be part of KYC/AML interactions to complete cases as per the timeline
- Initiate process improvements and implement process changes as necessary. Proactively identifies opportunities to refine a process and increase operational efficiencies
- Comprehend the KYC risk factors and draft the overall risk summary for the client. Make decisions that are effective and well-grounded based on guidelines, policies, and insights. Be flexible to multi-task and effectively manage priorities across the wider function

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably within the Commercial Banking/ Corporate Investment Banking sector experience, covering either Corporate, Banks, Trusts, Funds, Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI), Non-Operating Asset Holding (NOAH), Regulated Pension clients
- Degree holder
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements. Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Must be able to work and contribute effectively
- Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time
- Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines against a high-volume work schedule
- Experience adhering to controls and compliance standards
- Ability to grasp/learn concepts, procedures and accept feedback, and use it to build deeper knowledge of processes and client relationships through strong partnership with the client-facing team
- Able to perform gap analyses of requirements and documentation and to draft a communication for the client-facing team to send the client for any additional documentation needed to complete due diligence reviews
- Possess strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
