Job Description**:Business Development Manager**
Position Overview:
As the Business Development Manager for a travel mobile data service provider, your primary responsibility is to drive business growth and expand market presence. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and developing innovative solutions to meet the needs of travelers. Your role will involve building relationships with key stakeholders, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand the company's market share and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and target customer segments.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products and services that meet market demands.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances with travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, and other relevant businesses.
- Negotiate and establish partnership agreements to enhance distribution channels and market reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, fostering collaboration and mutual growth.
- Collaborate with partners on joint marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and sales activities.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales activities to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- Lead and support the sales team in developing and nurturing client relationships, closing deals, and managing key accounts.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the telecommunications and travel industry.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute business development strategies.
- Strong sales and revenue generation capabilities, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Analytical skills to gather market intelligence, analyze data, and make informed business decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with partners, attend industry events, and visit clients.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages relevant to the target markets would be a plus).
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
