Responsibilities
  1. Implement and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  2. Ensure plant electrical, instrumentation, and control systems (such as PLC, HMI, SCADA) are maintained in optimal condition.
  3. Manage maintenance budgets and implement cost-saving measures, including CAPEX items for resource optimization.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to coordinate on-site support and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  5. Plan and oversee spare parts inventory management for uninterrupted operations.
  6. Execute start-up and shutdown activities as per operational requirements.
  7. Design instrumentation and control systems including preparing instrument lists, datasheets, hook-up drawings, and cable schedules.
  8. Propose, plan, and carry out electrical efficiency improvement programs, renewable energy projects, IoT-related initiatives, and any other production cost-down improvement / GHG reduction programs.
  9. Design medium and low-voltage electrical distribution and generation systems, lighting and small power design, motor starter circuitry, and lightning and earthing systems.
  10. Perform any additional duties as assigned by superiors.
