Executive Director, Sales Channel Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead the development and execution of sustainable and profitable growth strategies for our global leading brands in Pest Control, Air Care, and Home Cleaning categories.
This role is responsible for driving targeted sales and market shares through the General Trade channel, as well as building and sustaining professional relationships with customers to drive quality distribution management, route-to-market, and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver strong sell-in and sell-out performance vs target of total North and East Coast region, managing and tracking trade spend and margin to achieve healthy P&L and grow market shares.
- Lead the development of GT region strategy plan, initiate stakeholder buy-in, ensure prompt execution excellence of plans, motivate and track results for further opportunities and/or cause correction.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality sales team, inspiring and motivating direct and indirect teams to achieve Joint Business Planning (JBP) KPIs set for the year.
- Develop and track JBP with distributors and key customers for short- and long-term business growth and sustainable profitability.
- Manage and coach distributor's team on execution excellence in-store, delivering perfect store guidelines, route plans, and product knowledge to achieve best-in-class executions on displays, product assortment, share of shelf improvement, and Planogram compliance.
- Closely work with cross-functional teams of Marketing, Customer Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain to achieve strong customer growth plans.
- Take initiative, accountability, and follow-through on weekly estimates, monthly sales bottom-up forecast accuracy, monthly trade spend claims, and all other trade-related activities including on-time payment collection and trade spend settlements.
- Responsible for reviewing and continuously negotiating for trading term improvements with customers.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- At least 8-10 years of working experience as a Regional Sales Manager and in distributor management, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry.
- Distributor Management Systems (DMS) knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Fluent in Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and English.
- Strategic and critical thinking with strong analytical and negotiation skills, and strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).
- Valid driving license, own transport, and willingness to travel required.
