We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team at ACCA Careers.

This role involves managing payroll operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll data processing, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the daily workflow and deadlines of the payroll team under supervision.
  2. Review deliverables of the team for each payroll client within portfolio to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay-data, as well as compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, and best practices.
  3. Coordinate new client onboarding and act as Project Manager for new payroll client implementation, setup, and smooth payroll processing.
  4. Support payroll-related audits by supervising the team in providing records and documentation to statutory bodies, Inland Revenue Department, etc.
  5. Recommend updates to payroll procedures and internal controls in accordance with best practices.
  6. Liaise with clients and government agencies such as Inland Revenue, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, etc.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in payroll processing.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Diligent, responsible, and detail-oriented with prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with payroll software.
