About DayOne

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Document Controller to join our construction project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the organization, maintenance, and control of all construction project documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the complete life cycle of construction project documents, including creation, distribution, tracking, and archiving.
  • Reviewing and approving construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project-related documentation, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards.
  • Ensuring that document control systems are current and functioning effectively, with the most recent versions of documents readily available to the project team, while ensuring previous versions are properly archived.
  • Facilitating the efficient distribution of documents to stakeholders, ensuring timely access to the required information.
  • Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive filing and retrieval system to enable quick and accurate retrieval of project documents as needed.
  • Performing regular audits of project documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Managing electronic and physical document repositories, ensuring proper categorization, labeling, and indexing of documents for easy retrieval.
  • Collaborating with project team members to address document-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project-related correspondence, transmittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders.
  • Providing guidance and training to project team members on document control procedures, systems, and best practices.
