We are seeking a skilled Policy Administrator to join our team at Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia). Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of insurance industry practices and regulations. You should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in insurance, actuarial science, or business administration is required, along with relevant professional qualifications such as AMII, ACII, AII, and DMII. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 1 year experience in the insurance industry handling personal accident policies. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel, are also essential. Excellent written and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to think critically and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include checking policies for accuracy and completeness, performing manual calculations to ensure premium accuracy, and verifying that incoming submissions comply with acceptance limits and guidelines. You will also be responsible for attending to Straight Thru Process (STP) pending and failed cases, maintaining and organizing submissions in our document management system, and liaising with marketing and branch teams to resolve discrepancies and incomplete documents. In addition, you will provide operational requirements and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for new products and system enhancements. Support to your manager in team performance analysis and process improvement will also be expected.
