Job Description
The ideal candidate for this Sales Field Specialist role will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convince top restaurants in Malaysia to partner with us. Your primary responsibility will be to drive B2B sales by securing new partnerships with vendors, conducting market research, and identifying potential partners in the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to secure new partnerships with vendors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the food and beverage industry.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insights on how to improve our services.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and performance-based goals.
- Represent foodpanda at networking events and conferences.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in consulting, e-commerce, or start-ups.
- Strong management skills to motivate and lead your team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Outgoing and confident personality with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, even when remotely.
- Proactive and able to lead independent projects.
- An 'out-of-the-box' thinker who challenges the status quo.
- A background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments is preferred.
- Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills.
