About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists within the Sales Team at Saint-Gobain Abrasives Asia Pacific. Reporting directly to the Country Sales Manager, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth in the Central Territory and South or Central Territory and North of Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships with customers (end-users and distributors) to expand product sales.
  2. Building and maintaining knowledge of the market for all Standard of Abrasives (Bonded Abrasives, Coated Abrasives, Thin Wheels and Construction Products).
  3. Collaborating with Regional Product Managers and Customer Service team to manage day-to-day operations.
  4. Staying up-to-date with competitor activity and providing strategic recommendations to Country Sales Manager/Product Manager.
  5. Managing business through distributor networks to ensure excellent customer service.
  6. Providing regular sales forecasts and management information to support business goals.
  7. Negotiating quotations and agreements with customers.
  8. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, preferably in industrial sales.
  • Proven track record in sales growth and achievement of targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
