About the Role

We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Professional to drive the growth of our Power Distribution solutions at SM2 Consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand business opportunities with EPC firms, contractors, and global organizations.
  • Provide consultative sales support to customers, leveraging extensive design expertise in power distribution systems compliant with IEC standards.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop in-depth product application knowledge, covering medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, including transformers, Ring Main Units (RMUs), Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS).
  • Grow market presence in key segments, such as data centers, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure, by applying strong business acumen and industry connections.
  • Champion and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) by implementing process-oriented and risk-based approaches, supporting QMS adoption and improvement, communicating its importance across the organization, and ensuring QMS objectives are achieved.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technical or solution-based selling.
  • Established network with EPC firms, contractors, and global EPC organizations.
  • Proven expertise in selling Power Distribution Assembly solutions, with strong technical knowledge of MV switchgear, transformers, and related systems.
  • In-depth understanding of power distribution components and systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and sensitivity to project go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
