About the Role

This Senior Corporate Finance position plays a critical role in driving business growth and expansion for CIMB.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative marketing and origination strategies in collaboration with coverage bankers, ECM, M&A and Sector teams.
  • Work closely with coverage teams to craft compelling pitches for clients, focusing on structuring, pricing, and securing mandates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with C-Suite executives and other key stakeholders to secure business opportunities for CIMB.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments to envision and create strategic business plans that capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Oversee deal execution to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Be accountable for successful completion of mandated deals and delivery of agreed solutions.
  • Lead day-to-day activities of the team, including maintaining client relationships, deal execution, and liaison with regulators on deal-specific issues.
  • Manage invoicing at mandated milestones, monitor outstanding invoices, and assist in collections with coverage bankers.
  • Foster cross-border collaboration for business opportunities and share best practices.
  • Ensure timely preparation and authorization of relevant documents and correspondences, review applications to regulatory authorities, and liaise with officials as needed.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Possess a CF advisory license.
  • 5-7 years of experience in banking, preferably in Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, or Treasury.
