The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global service delivery models, financial management, human resources, and procurement processes. With a strong track record in managing diverse teams, developing client relationships, and driving business process improvement initiatives, they will be able to optimize service delivery across all locations and ensure the financial sustainability of the GSSC.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the GSSC, aligning with UNDP's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for transactional services, including finance, human resources, and procurement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including BMS Directors and Deputy Directors, as well as external clients and partners.
- Drive business process improvement initiatives to streamline services, enhance quality, and reduce costs.
- Oversee the implementation of financial sustainability initiatives, ensuring the long-term viability of the GSSC.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in management, preferably in a global service delivery environment.
- Proven track record in leading diverse teams, developing client relationships, and driving business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of global service delivery models, financial management, human resources, and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the LocationThe role will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with frequent travel to other UNDP offices and partner locations worldwide.
