Strategic Relationship Builder

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Relationship Builder to join our team. This role is focused on expanding revenue within our existing client base through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and deepening client relationships. While this is not a traditional new business sales role, you will play a crucial part in identifying opportunities for revenue growth post-signature by understanding clients' needs, aligning solutions to their business goals, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:Revenue Growth & Expansion: Drive revenue growth by identifying and qualifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Proactively engage clients to understand their evolving needs and introduce relevant solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, positioning yourself as their key advisor. Gain a deep understanding of their business objectives, operational challenges, and strategic goals.
Consultative Selling: Take a consultative approach to sales by focusing on client outcomes rather than just product features. Present tailored solutions that demonstrate clear value and ROI for the client.
Strategic Account Planning: Build and maintain comprehensive account plans that map out client growth potential, usage trends, and expansion opportunities. Regularly conduct business reviews and health checks to showcase the ongoing value of our offerings.
Retention & Advocacy: Work proactively to drive client satisfaction and retention. Track key metrics like churn rate, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and account activity to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Industry & Competitive Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes that may impact clients. Use this knowledge to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, revenue projections, and deal progress within CRM tools like Salesforce. Generate reports and analyze data to track performance and optimize strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of success in B2B relationship management, account management, or sales, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
Strong understanding of financial markets, trading technologies, and brokerage business models.
Able to drive revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling. Proven experience negotiating and closing deals with existing clients.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to guide clients through complex financial solutions and demonstrate value beyond product features.
Strong analytical skills, using data insights to inform client strategies and measure success.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
