Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements Review: Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  2. Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, and execute them to ensure the quality of our software.
  3. Testing Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to ensure that our software meets the required standards.
  4. Automation Scripting: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools to streamline our testing process.
  5. Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
  6. Regression Testing: Manage thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure that our software remains stable and functional.
  7. Testing Process Development: Create and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs and ensure that our software meets the required standards.
  8. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Cooperate with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements and ensure that our software meets the required standards.
  9. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Inspect debugging process results and investigate the causes of non-conforming software to ensure that our software is of the highest quality.
  10. Quality Assurance Metrics: Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to ensure that our software meets the required standards.
  11. Professional Development: Keep up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to ensure that our software remains competitive in the market.
Requirements:
  1. Proven Work Experience: Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  2. Software QA Methodologies: Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  3. Test Planning and Execution: Excel in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  4. Testing Experience: Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  5. Automated Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  6. SQL and Scripting: Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  7. Agile/Scrum Development: Familiarity working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  8. Performance and Security Testing: Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  9. Education: Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
