About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled professional with excellent communication skills to handle internal and external stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of social media management, crisis communication, and PR campaign reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to plan and execute various events, conferences, exhibitions, and webinars to meet organizational objectives. Additionally, they will manage the Group's Digital Archiving System, ensuring accurate filing and updating of digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to enhance the company's reputation and brand image.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging content for internal and external audiences, including social media and marketing materials.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, identifying opportunities for positive publicity and mitigating potential crises.
  • Support the team in crisis communication and PR campaign reporting, providing timely and effective responses to emerging issues.
  • Manage the planning and execution of various events, conferences, exhibitions, and webinars, both online and offline.
  • Oversee the Group's Digital Archiving System, ensuring accurate and up-to-date filing of digital assets, including images, videos, documents, and files.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Communications, Media Communication, or Public Relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good writing skills, primarily in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of social media landscape and management.
  • Adequate stakeholder management skills to establish, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different business units and geographical locations, and vertically across all staff levels.
  • Strong research, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • One to two years of experience in public relations, marketing communications, corporate communications, branding, or content writing roles.
