About the RoleThis role involves serving as a strategic HR business partner to assigned business units. Key responsibilities include providing support for manpower planning, resource allocation, recruitment, talent management & development, employee engagement, and human resource operations.
Core Responsibilities:- Stakeholder Management:
- Provide consulting to business on process improvements and new initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with business heads to discuss performance requirements and develop processes.
- Communicate latest developments in HR strategies, systems, and best practices.
- Manpower Budgeting & Planning:
- Work with business heads to plan manpower requirements based on annual business plans and productivity norms.
- Monitor and review the manpower budget quarterly to ensure adherence.
- Ensure availability of manpower through internal or external talent acquisition.
- Performance Management & Rewards:
- Implement performance management processes based on corporate guidelines.
- Support annual compensation revisions ensuring salaries align with pay policies and guidelines.
- Drive talent development initiatives like talent reviews, IDPs, developmental programs, and career progression.
- Employee Engagement:
- Plan and execute annual employee engagement calendars.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives and support employee welfare activities.
- Employee Relations/HR Operations:
- Resolve escalated employee grievances and complaints.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, career development, and personal issues.
- Manage the employee exit process, coordinate terminations, and conduct exit interviews.
- People Management:
- Define goals and KPIs for team members and implement GMG's performance management process.
- Develop talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
