About the Role

This role involves serving as a strategic HR business partner to assigned business units. Key responsibilities include providing support for manpower planning, resource allocation, recruitment, talent management & development, employee engagement, and human resource operations.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Provide consulting to business on process improvements and new initiatives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with business heads to discuss performance requirements and develop processes.
    • Communicate latest developments in HR strategies, systems, and best practices.
  • Manpower Budgeting & Planning:
    • Work with business heads to plan manpower requirements based on annual business plans and productivity norms.
    • Monitor and review the manpower budget quarterly to ensure adherence.
    • Ensure availability of manpower through internal or external talent acquisition.
  • Performance Management & Rewards:
    • Implement performance management processes based on corporate guidelines.
    • Support annual compensation revisions ensuring salaries align with pay policies and guidelines.
    • Drive talent development initiatives like talent reviews, IDPs, developmental programs, and career progression.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Plan and execute annual employee engagement calendars.
    • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives and support employee welfare activities.
  • Employee Relations/HR Operations:
    • Resolve escalated employee grievances and complaints.
    • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, career development, and personal issues.
    • Manage the employee exit process, coordinate terminations, and conduct exit interviews.
  • People Management:
    • Define goals and KPIs for team members and implement GMG's performance management process.
    • Develop talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
    Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
