About the Role
As a Tour Operation Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate tours, including designing and scheduling itineraries, handling bookings with hotels, transport, restaurants, and other partners, and coordinating teams to ensure seamless execution. You will also be required to manage suppliers, handle travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and activities, and address any issues or changes that arise during the tour.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and schedule tour itineraries, ensuring all details are covered
* Handle bookings with hotels, transport, restaurants, and other partners
* Coordinate teams to ensure seamless execution
* Manage suppliers and negotiate rates
* Handle travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and activities
* Address any issues or changes that arise during the tour
* Prepare and maintain tour documentation, including itineraries, contracts, and reports
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in booking and reservation systems is also essential. Additionally, you must be proficient in English and have a strong understanding of the tourism industry.
