Job Description

The HR Director will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business growth and enhance employee engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support the corporation's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate with management personnel to develop and implement regional strategies regarding staffing, retention, compensation, benefits administration, organizational development, training, employment and labor law, employee relations, HRIS, performance management, policy development, and administration.
  2. Cost Containment: Develop and implement cost containment strategies, regional benchmarking of current market trends regarding compensation, health and welfare programs, and employee development, as well as regional support for all merger and acquisition activities.
  3. Workforce Development: Implement employee development programs in conjunction with the corporation's goals and objectives to support the development of its workforce and ensure the perpetuation of the Jabil Culture.
  4. Compliance Management: Have oversight responsibility of corporate compliance issues in reference to Safety & Health initiatives, Social & Environmental Hygiene, Regulatory and Statutory programs, etc.
  5. Additional Responsibilities: May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Industry Knowledge: A strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  • Business Acumen: The ability to determine logistics requirements to enable company business goals and objectives and devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial and analytical ability, proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
  • Tax and Customs Expertise: Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong and convincing communication skills.
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and email skills required.
Qualifications

You must have:

  • Education: A Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent business-related experience.
  • Experience: 8 - 15 years of Human Resources Experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management position at a site level.
  • Collective Bargaining: Familiarity with principles associated with working in a collective bargaining unit.
  • Combination: Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
