Organizational Capability Manager

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a performance management system that aligns with our company's strategic objectives, ensuring timely identification and addressing of performance gaps.
- Conduct annual capability gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs to enhance staff skills and competencies.
- Lead the design and implementation of learning and development initiatives focused on soft, technical, and functional skills, including health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and corporate leadership programs.
- Monitor and manage staff capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and feedback to ensure a skilled, qualified, and continuously improving workforce.
- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging challenges.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to address areas of concern and drive business growth.
- Ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders through proactive management of the L&D communications plan and engagement plan.
- Collaborate with line departments to scope, plan, and implement competency requirements for staff, including offshore competency management systems, baseline assessments, and other relevant processes.
- Manage assessment processes and procedures, including the appointment of internal and third-party assessors, to ensure effective evaluation of staff capabilities.
- Develop and implement succession plans, promotions, and staff mobility strategies to ensure continuity and readiness across the organization.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on developing succession plans for identified talent and strategies for critical positions.
- Establish and monitor internship placement processes to align with business requirements, strategies, and objectives.
- Administer and manage budgets, forecasting requirements, reviewing work program budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action to ensure effective cost management and optimization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development.
- Minimum 8 years experience in human resources functions, particularly in capability management, with a good grounding in overall HR practices in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience in HR functions with international companies will be an advantage.
- A proven track record of working independently under pressure and delivering timely results.
