Job Summary

The Associate Director, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking role at CLSA Global Markets Pte Ltd is responsible for preparing materials for origination efforts as well as executing live transactions. These transactions would include deals in the ECM space such as IPOs, placements, preferential offerings, rights issues, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present research and analysis findings, valuation, investor targeting and engagement, and translate that into presentation for deal pitching.
  • Quality control for internal and external presentations, pitch books and various internal processes.
  • Execute live transactions from marketing to launch preparation and pricing/closing of transaction.
  • Oversee administrative duties (e.g. roadshows, printing reports) and prepare documentation for internal processes.
  • Support Head of ECM (SEA) and align overall strategy and workplace conduct.
  • Coordinate information flow and prioritize tasks.
  • Develop business relationships with investors and corporate clients.
  • Ensure data integrity and fact-check work undertaken.
  • Oversee maintenance of credentials and databases.
  • Manage junior bankers/interns and provide guidance and feedback.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Diligent, eager to learn, with high degree of integrity.
  • Prior Investment Banking experience, preferably in Southeast Asia, is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write and speak Business Mandarin will be a strong plus.
