About the Assistant Front Office Manager Role
This role is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and ensuring exceptional customer service.
About You
- You have a strong background in hotel operations, preferably in a front office or similar role.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
About the Job
- Sets a positive example for guest relations and displays outstanding hospitality skills.
- Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Interacts with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels, and overall satisfaction.
- Monitors adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports management of front desk team by utilizing strong leadership and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Supervises and manages employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensures employee recognition is taking place on all shifts.
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
