**Overview:**

Ichiplas (M) is a renowned plastic injection molding factory that has been delivering high-quality custom solutions to clients in various industries for decades. We are currently seeking an experienced **Business Development Manager** to join our team and drive the growth of our plastic injection molding business. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the manufacturing industry, particularly in industries requiring overmolding and insert molding. This role will be responsible for growing a robust sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing long-term relationships with clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Strategic Business Development:
    1. Identify and close new business opportunities in target industries.
    2. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
    3. Represent our company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events in Malaysia and other countries.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    1. Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, and in existing customer accounts.
    2. Conduct regular customer visits and act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    3. Ensure all customer projects execute to contract, hitting key KPIs.
  3. Sales Strategy:
    1. Revise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
    2. Collaborate with the production team to ensure client requirements are met.
    3. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients. In charge of closing all commercial negotiations and client pricing changes.
  4. Reporting:
    1. Provide regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, forecasts, and market insights.
    2. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the plastic injection molding or related manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes and familiarity with plastic injection machines and their applications.
