Senior Officer, Corporate Secretariat

The Senior Manager, Board Secretariat plays a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient administration of AFI's governance procedures and proceedings.
Responsibilities:
- Secretariat Services: Manage secretariat services and support to the Membership Council, Board of Directors, Board Committees, and Management Team.
- Governance Support: Support the Board and its committees, facilitate the preparation of meeting agendas, and ensure the dissemination of information.
- Meeting Coordination: Facilitate the convening of and attend meetings of the Board and Board Committees, prepare minutes for record, and ensure decisions are disseminated to Management and Business Units.
- Communication: Communicate with Board members, Committee members, and focal points.
- Document Development: Develop high-level documentation, strategic correspondence, agenda, resolutions, materials, and minutes for submission to the Board and Board Committees.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: In law, accounting, corporate governance, business administration, management, or related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 10 years in financial institutions, member-driven associations/networks, international organizations, or national organizations with engagement with international clients/partners.
- Governance Experience: Minimum 3 years handling governance duties and hands-on experience with governance best practices.
- Language Proficiency: Full proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
