About the Role:

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales plans, monitoring progress, and proposing mitigation measures to ensure achievement of targeted sales volume, market share, revenue, and margins.

You will also liaise with other departments to ensure smooth business transactions, meeting customer requirements, and stay updated on industry trends, competition, and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Manage sales team performance, provide coaching and guidance as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present sales reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Marketing, Social Science, or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in related industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Able to converse in multiple dialects (an advantage)
  • Possess own vehicle, willing to travel extensively
  • Based in Taman Molek, JB
