Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for promoting our products and services, developing and executing commercial business plans, and building strong relationships with clients.
- Promote Company Products and Services (Marine & Non-Marine) to achieve set KPIs and targets.
- Implement, execute, and achieve sales plans in line with company goals.
- Canvass new target customers, providing commercial advice and support on local actions.
- Keep track of each project in an orderly way: daily update of a 'control tower' file.
- Work closely with Sales Manager to ensure maximum performance.
- Service existing customer/accounts and develop new reefer business (import & export).
- Build close relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide Marketing Intelligence and gather all related information on market activities/trends and competitor intelligence.
- Prepare slides presentation and present to clients as required.
- Monitor closely on debtor aging.
- Prepare Weekly/Monthly Performance Report on Business activities.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline with 2-5 years of working experience in sales, preferably in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
• Those without qualification but with a proven track record in shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics are encouraged to apply.
• Persuasive and results-oriented.
• Pleasant personality with good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and be a good team player.
• Willing to travel and has own transport.
