Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Facilities Engineer to join our team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing site master plans that align with our company's strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Site Master Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate preliminary site master plan concepts for greenfield and brownfield projects.
  2. Optimize Facilities Space: Identify opportunities for space planning optimization and establish standards for critical facilities rooms and areas.
  3. Standardize Facilities Management: Standardize and continuously improve facilities space management for critical systems, leveraging industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  4. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess and identify potential risks and challenges related to facilities space constraints, particularly in brownfield projects.
  5. Communication and Visualization: Generate SMP 3D models, renderings, and animations to effectively communicate proposed site master plans.
  6. Construction Data Management: Analyze and evaluate construction-related building and site information across all Micron sites and use it as guidelines for construction projects.
  7. Project Support: Provide timely and effective support to new construction projects to ensure project continuity.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a construction-related field.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge and understanding of semiconductor manufacturing plants and local construction codes.
  3. Utilities Systems: Understanding of utilities systems is highly desired.
  4. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools, as well as Microsoft Office and multimedia editing software.
  6. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, team player, strong collaboration and analytical skills, and ability to work independently.

Additional Requirements: May require travel for site surveys if necessary, and willingness to work during non-standard hours if required.
