Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical designs and installations meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate electrical designs with consultants and vendors to ensure compliance with our quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of projects and ensure effective communication.
  • Assess and manage project risks to minimize their impact on our operations.
  • Lead the execution of electrical systems, including MV/LV, UPS, PDUs, and DG, from design to commissioning.
  • Coordinate with site contractors to resolve site-related services issues and ensure proper installation.
  • Validate and witness testing and commissioning of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Drive the resolution of critical snags and ensure that all electrical power supply provisioning is completed on time.
  • Validate measurements to support invoicing and ensure that all documentation is comprehensive and accurate.
  • Effectively maintain all project documentation and drive the IST prior to project handover.
  • Ensure a seamless transition post-project closure by undertaking all necessary handover activities and fulfilling documentation requirements.
  • Prepare guidelines for safety checks and risks assessments for electrical equipment and create checklists accordingly.
  • Drive compliance to safety norms by contractors during the construction phase.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in DC infrastructure executing mission-critical facilities.
  • Prior experience in managing data center projects and handover to stakeholders within schedule.
  • Experience in carrying out IST with hyperscale customers in data center projects.
