We are looking to hire a Regional HR Manager to join our growing team in APAC, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join us and be part of something as it grows. This opportunity has come about from Computacenter growth within the Region.

Let’s tell you a little bit about the team that you’ll be working with:
We are a strong and commercially minded HR Business Partnering team. We are the trusted advisors to the Senior Leadership Teams that we support, and we make an impact in the business. We are proactive, strategic and implement People Strategies and Initiatives that positively impact the lives of our people at Computacenter.

As the Regional HR Manager, you will report into the Lead HR Business Partner based in the UK and will manage a local team of 4 direct reports and up to 8 indirect reports. You will provide leadership in all areas of HR operations, development, engagement and talent acquisition programs for our Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Australian and Chinese employees.

The Computacenter team in APAC is approximately 300 strong and consists of service desk analysts, project managers, service managers, on site engineers and country leadership roles. This team manage Computacenter customer contract and delivery commitments across the region for our international client portfolio.

You will be member of our global HR team being accountable for planning, managing, and improving the full range of HR responsibilities relevant to the countries specified and for maintaining alignment to Group strategy and process.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop strong & trusted partnership with Business Leaders, advising on a variety of areas such as team design, retention engagement and team dynamics.
- Support in the execution of the Business Strategy through developing People Strategies and Initiatives that positively impact our people.
- In partnership with other global HR leaders, create and maintain a People Plan and provide the leadership to implement them in the region.
- Lead, motivate and develop the local HR teams.
- Ensure the local HR teams are equipped to coach managers & employees on all aspects of employee relations.
- Interpret people analytics, data, and trends to make organisational decisions and advise the senior leadership team.
- Work with the General manager and Group L&D to ensure that Leadership and Management Development programmes are run to ensure the continuous development of the Leadership community. To assist with managing the succession planning process across the region including talent profiles, successor plans, and development action commitments.
- Collaborate with the COEs such as Talent Acquisition, to understand & develop the optimum way to deliver recruitment in the region, address business issues and embed new strategies.
- Maintain the company’s People first culture by fostering a positive work environment for all employees adhering to policies and procedures, as well as supporting the employee recognition programs.
- Attract, develop, and motivate the talent needed to achieve business success.
- Establish high-performance expectations, coach team members to success, and hold individuals accountable for achieving results.

**What you’ll need**
- A demonstrable background in the field of Human Resources Business Partnering, successfully performing a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing a regionally dispersed team of HR professionals.
- Possess problem solving and analytical capability; experience of managing and analysing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium, and long-term plans.
- Have proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable whilst being able to motivate others and influence work behaviours.
- A background of working in a commercial organisation partnering to understand the business agenda, having had a seat at the table with senior leadership.
- Experience of running significant programmes of work across several People Strategies, covering several areas such as Change Management through to Diversity and Inclusion.
- Exceptional communication skills, being able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A motivated self-starter who enjoys working with a high degree of autonomy.
- An excellent team player.
