**Job Summary**

The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting HR operations with a strong focus on payroll, HR documentation, statutory compliance, and employee record management. This role will handle HR-related issues for contract staff and ensure smooth execution of HR and payroll processes in compliance with Malaysian labour laws.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Human Resources & Compliance**
- Handle HR-related issues for contract staff and provide necessary support.
- Draft and issue HR-related letters (e.g., warning, termination, show cause, confirmation, memos).
- Maintain and update leave records for both internal and external staff.
- Liaise with JTK (Labour Office) and ensure timely submission of required HR documentation.
- Ensure HR processes comply with labour law and company policies.

**Payroll & Accounts**
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for both internal and contract staff.
- Maintain payroll system data, including accurate updates for both **active and inactive staff** (joiners, leavers, rehires).
- Manage statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD levy) in compliance with government regulations.
- Handle LHDN (Income Tax) related matters including PCB submissions, CP39, and yearly EA forms.
- Verify and process allowances, overtime, and staff claims.
- Assist with basic account-related matters such as invoice records, petty cash verification, and payment tracking.

**Onboarding & Offboarding Verification**
- Conduct **final checking on completed onboarding and offboarding processes** carried out by the Admin team.
- Verify that all required documents, clearances, and procedures are completed within the required timeframe.
- Ensure employee records (system and physical files) are properly updated after onboarding/offboarding.
- Highlight discrepancies or incomplete tasks to the HR Manager for action.

Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month
