**General Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement support plans for EAL and SEND students in collaboration with teachers and the learning support team.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students receiving additional support and adjust plans as necessary.
- Liaise with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and provide guidance on additional resources.
- Work with external agencies to access resources and support services available for EAL and SEND students.
- Train teaching staff on best practices for supporting EAL and SEND students in the classroom.
- Organise workshops and training sessions for staff on inclusion strategies and cultural competency.
- Oversee the preparation of individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure they are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the SEND and EAL provision across the school.
- Monitor the SEND and EAL student lists.
- Supervise and teach SEND/EAL students.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with EAL and SEND students in an educational setting - Primary and/or Secondary phases.
- Strong understanding of educational needs relating to special needs and disability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to assess individual student needs and adapt support strategies accordingly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
