**Job Title**: L3 Application Support Engineer (Treasury / Capital Markets)

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in **new system implementations**, including requirements analysis, evaluation, installation, customization, and migration.
- Conduct **system QA** prior to UAT, and support users during **UAT preparation and execution**.
- Assess and validate the impact of **software releases, patches, and upgrades** before deployment.
- Maintain **technical and functional documentation**, prepare **user guides**, and deliver **training sessions** when required.
- Collaborate with **vendors and partners** for issue resolution, escalation, and incident tracking.
- Participate in **IT Disaster Recovery** and **Business Continuity Planning** activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in **Information Technology**, **Computer Science**, or a related discipline.
- **7-9 years** of experience in **Application Support**, preferably within **Banking or Financial Services**.
- Strong working knowledge of **SQL**, **MySQL**, and **Oracle**, including query tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with **Windows** and **Linux/Unix** environments.
- Exposure to **Treasury**, **FX**, or **Capital Markets systems** is **strongly preferred**.
- Understanding of **software development and project lifecycle implementation** processes.
- Excellent **analytical, problem-solving**, and **communication** skills.
- Proven ability to **collaborate effectively** with internal teams, business users, and external vendors.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in **scripting**, **automation**, or **monitoring tools** (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Control-M, Splunk) is a plus.

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM12,500.00 per month

- Treasury, FX market: 3 years (preferred)
- L3 Application Support Engineer: 3 years (preferred)
