**Role Overview**
The Sales Team Lead (Northern) drives sales growth, manages client relationships, and leads a team of account managers within the Northern Region. We are looking for strong leadership, business development, and customer management skills to expand Experian's footprint among SMEs, corporates, and channel partners.
**Main Responsibilities**:
Sales Leadership & Growth
- Increase sales performance for the Northern region to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop regional sales strategies aligned with Experian Malaysia's goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships within the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) and corporate sectors.
**Team Management**
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of account managers to achieve personal and team KPIs.
- Monitor and review sales activities, providing guidance, training, and support for skill development.
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and customer-centric culture.
**Client & Partner Engagement**
- Build strong relationships with main clients, prospects, and channel partners in the region.
- Represent Experian at business networking sessions, industry events, and client meetings.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to enhance client retention.

Experience and Skills
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales/business development.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in financial services, credit bureau, fintech OR equivalent
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of SME and corporate business landscape in the Northern region.
- ** Ability to travel across Northern states when required.**
