Manager, Payroll Operations and HR Shared Services

**Aufgaben**:
- Reporting to General Manager Head of HR, the objective is to support in the management and everyday payroll operations and governance for all the countries in the Asia Pacific and LATM region through global appointed outsourced payroll operations partner. Additionally responsible for performance of local HR Shared Services Operations for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia
- Key focus as follows:
- End to End vendor management of outsourced payroll operations partner
- Governance of change request deliveries and open problem tickets with outsourced vendor
- Ensure accurate, compliant and timely monthly payroll service delivery to all MB markets by outsourced vendor
- Responsible to manage and oversee HR Shared Services Delivery for MB Malaysia
- Take necessary action, assuring both global payroll and local HR Shared Services operations run’s smooth, responsible for governance of compliance and process improvement and automation and implementation of digital solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports A ss ist ant Manager Payroll Specialist.
**Responsibilities**:
Vendor Management- Ensure an efficient, accurate and timely payroll service delivery to all countries through proactive vendor management with a customer-focused attitude.
- Monitor and ensure KPI’s set to measure performance of vendor based on SLA is achieved
- Challenge and escalate where is necessary to improve performance and deliverables of vendor is meeting expectation of Mercedes-Benz group.
- Analyse and approve change request commercial cost before it’s shared with local HR
- Lead the contract renewal and negotiation with Vendor according to contract duration
Service Management- Lead the communication channel between the service provider and Mercedes-Benz countries to address:
- Open Challenges
- Seek / receive feedbacks
- Operational challenges
- Lead root cause analysis for any gaps and improvements
- Initiation and implementation of regional change request
Delivery HR Shared Services- Manage and oversee deliverables of HR Shared Services according to agreed services to be provided to HRBPs and employees in MB Malaysia
- Responsible for local payroll operations
- Establishing continuous process improvement and implementation of digital automation
- Define clear processes and KPIs for all Shared Services deliverables
Facilitate Training; Change Management; Documentation- Generate and implement solutions, provide training and communication sessions with users as necessary.
- Support Change Management and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure yearly updates and proper documentation and filing of processes and process flows.
Compliance- Responsible to ensure compliance to all Mercedes-Benz HR compliance guidelines/frameworks are implemented and followed-through across all HR Shared Services scope provided.
- Ensure department budget management, SLA, cross charging and cost are established and efficiently through all aspects of operation.

**Qualifikationen**:
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business/ HR/ IT/Finance or any other relevant disciples to work in HR.
- Overall experience of min 5 years in HR Operations / Shared Services Background.
- A proven track record in Human Resources or a related field with a focus on process improvement, project management, payroll operation or compensation & benefits.
- Knowledge and understanding of key payroll related workflows within APAC region would be of a significant advantage.
- Hands-on experienced working with HRIS system i.e. Workday, HCM PeopleSoft or SAP
- Experienced having leading teams and demonstrates good understanding of leadership.
- Exposure to the concepts of HR Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing is desirable.
- Proactive, organized, resourceful and meticulous in work.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Applications - MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.

- Excellent customer relation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work unsupervised and a self-leader
- Strong leadership demonstration. Able to challenge and exert influence
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to build relationships with diverse customers and stakeholders at all levels is essential.
Language Skills:
- Good command on spoken and written English is necessary with excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
