**Get to know the Team**

The Legal IP team is responsible for overseeing the Grab group’s IP portfolio and safeguarding the same worldwide. Our team is made up of 10 members reporting to our General Counsel. Within the IP team, we have TMT specialists, patent specialists, trademark specialists, etc. The Legal IP team members work closely together to ensure that the Grab group’s tech assets are protected through both registered and unregistered IP rights. **Get to know the Role**

**The Day-to-Day Activities**
- Manage domain name dispute matters, including UDRP and URS or equivalent proceedings
- Conduct research on IP infringements and counterfeits on marketplaces, social media, app stores, and other new and emerging online areas of the internet as well as potential IP infringements as directed by attorneys
- Issue takedown notices and/or cease and desist letters as necessary
- Review, organize and maintain a log of relevant evidence
- Work with law enforcement agencies for takedowns where necessary
- Assist to continuously reviewing and improving Grab’s worldwide brand and content protection strategy and enforcement program, including sourcing for good vendors, tools and/or systems
- Communicate with internal business stakeholders regarding online content & IP infringements
- Manage communications and instructions to Grab’s online enforcement vendors
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documents for IP prosecution and procure signatures from internal and external stakeholders where required.
- Attend to billings, budgeting and expenses monitoring
- Collaborate on other IP / TMT projects or matters (e.g. copyright or patent prosecution matters, trademark clearance searches, etc) as needed

**The Must-Haves**
- At least 4 years experience in IP-related matters, preferably with experience in brand enforcement practices at a law firm and/or in-house legal team
- Diploma/Degree holder, preferably with intellectual property modules as part of the course.
- Strong internet digital skills; tech-savvy is a must
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
- Ability to take initiative and work with mínimal supervision as well as to spot issues and escalate as needed
- Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills, to be successful with investigations
- Good organizational and time management skills; this position will handle a high volume caseload, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment is required

**The Nice-to-Haves**
- Experience in negotiating buy-side technology procurement contracts, or general contract negotiation experience with an interest in developing skills to support technology procurement transactions.
