Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for positions across the freight forwarding industry, including logistics, warehousing, customer service, and operations roles.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions for open positions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international hiring regulations, including customs and freight documentation knowledge.
- Monitor and report on hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, ensuring continuous improvement in the recruitment process.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company.
- Maintain and update the talent pipeline for future hiring needs in line with the company’s growth plans.
- Leverage technology, including applicant tracking systems, to streamline the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Hiring Manager or Recruiter, ideally in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including import/export regulations, customs clearance, and transportation logistics.
- Experience in talent acquisition and familiarity with a variety of recruiting techniques and platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to the freight forwarding industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with international recruiting, especially in logistics-heavy markets.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technologies.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM or CIPD) is an advantage.
