We’re building a new agile product team to launch great payment solutions products and we need determined, go-getter individuals to join the fold. We believed that complying with federal and provincial regulations gives us the competitive edge & assurance to our users. As an IT Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements within the payment services industry. Your responsibilities will include:
**Responsibility**
- Collaborate with the compliance team to interpret & decode complex requirements and mandates from BNM, Card Scheme, and other regulations. Create strategies that enable Paydee to stay compliant while remaining lean and competitive.
- Co-own & maintain company-wide Policies and SOPs. Perform periodic reviews to ensure the SOPs are practical, executable, and up-to-date with new emerging best practices in the Payment Industries.
- Keep the leadership team informed of new mandates and requirements from the BNM regulatory and Card Schemes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that information security and governance considerations are integrated into business processes, systems, and services.
- Oversee the implementation of SOPs across departments, conducting regular audits. Ensure adherence to policies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the information security program.
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and security measures.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory and compliance bodies, to ensure organizational compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
- Specific experience in PCI DSS or GDPR compliance is required.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) in IT compliance or cybersecurity are a plus.
- At least 3 years in a management role of proven work experience in the related role
- Proven leadership capability in guiding a team operating across diverse legal and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to follow process and collaborate effectively to work in a team
- Excellent written and communication skills in native and English language
- Well organized, with high attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
