Business Development Manager/ Executive

Develop sales/marketing strategies and plans to grow business in targeted territory.
- Responsible and accountable for business development and business growth of the company.
- Proactively develop new business and markets via new products, new customers, and new channels, and new segments.
- Take lead on clarification of bid condition and management of the tender preparation, review of information about the demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparation.
- Manage customer relationships and identify lead for existing customers and to create business opportunity for new contract.
- Undertake cost analysis for the project work to ensure project profitability.
- Leading the tender process team and monitor the overall performance of the team to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service, and profitability for the organization.
- Leading and proficient in cost and strategic pricing placement and calculation.
- Manage and actively pursue specification and project selling. Maintain an active and accurate project tracking list to ensure sufficient projects in pipeline.
- Evaluate monthly performance and guarantee high efficiency and effectiveness of sales and marketing operation.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a close customer relationship.
- Manage and implement company pricing policy.
- Identify trend, market intelligence, and translate this into sales strategies and sales tactics.
**Job Qualification**:
- Degree in Civil/ Architecture/ Construction Management or related engineering field or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years working experiences in Construction field.
- Those without degree but with more than 5 years working experience in the similar capacity is encouraged to apply.
- At least 3 years solid sales management experience, preferably in building materials or services.
**Competency and Skills**:
- Familiar in Microsoft office (word/Excel/Power-point).
- Good Time Management.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good Pre-sales management skills and ability to close lead.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Pragmatic with good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated good negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to create and develop relationships with different levels of customers.
- Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to details.
- Solid understanding of the construction/building process and protocol.
- Solid understanding of building material technologies is highly desirable.
- Good reading, listening, and speaking skills in both English and Chinese.
- Possess own transportation and ability to relocate as when needed for short assignment.
- Able to work irregular hours and work under pressure.
**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
