HR Assistant Manager

**Job Purpose**
**Key Accountabilities**
**Employee Relations**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Conduct fair and impartial investigations into cases involving harassment, discrimination, misconduct, or policy violations.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Recommend appropriate corrective or developmental actions, including disciplinary measures or training.
**Policy Development & Compliance**
- Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Malaysian labor law, as well as relevant federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Monitor workplace trends and recommend proactive measures to reduce employee relations issues.
**Employee Engagement**
- Partner with leadership to design and implement initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and a positive work culture.
- Support change management programs and culture-building efforts.
**Data & Reporting**
- Track, analyze, and report employee relations cases, trends, and metrics to leadership.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the employee experience and minimize risks.
**People Management & Team Development**
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance and capability growth.
- Provide regular feedback, set clear goals, and support succession planning initiatives.
**Qualifications**
**Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations or HR business partnering within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
