Junior Chef de Partie

**Pre Opening Location: Cheeky Peach, The Palette Setapak. (Pork Free, Serving Alcohol)**
**Training Location before pre opening: Peaches & Cream, Ampwalk Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.**
You will be responsible for that station's workflow and getting meals out on time. Oversee the cooking process from start to finish and determine how much time each step requires. You will collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to prepare, cook, and present dishes, while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
**Requirements**:
- At least 1 years experience as Line Cook/Chef de Partie.
- **Looking for Malaysian only.**:
- Experienced in a western kitchen role.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
- A strong passion for cooking and a keen interest in developing culinary skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Culinary qualifications or relevant training are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
**Responsibility**
- To be responsible for the smooth operation daily operations of the kitchen department.
- To prepare daily menu and to ensure high food quality and consistency.
- To ensure the food prepared are well presented and sufficient.
- To be detailed on the food presentation.
- To assist in purchasing of kitchen equipment and utensils when necessary.
- To implement the cleanliness and hygienic practices in food preparation.
- To advise the management of the daily stocks inventory and food costing.
- To plan and control and ensure to work within budget limits.
- To cooperate and work in a team towards development, implementation, maintenance, and improvements of the quality management system.
- To take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improvement activities.
- Coordination of production material and ensures that all items on the menu are available.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
