Operational Excellence Manager

Job Summary
- Elaborate factory Operational Excellence management model, to ensure consistency and spreading of 2.OX/Operational Excellence aligned with the factory OPM (Operational Master Plan)
- The 2.OX/Operational Excellence Manager coordinates the 2.OX/Operational Excellence implementation across the factory.

Accomplishes this by working with the 2.OX/Operational Excellence Steering Committee as well as each site’s 2.OX/Operational Excellence Coordinator, Executive Committee and master pillar leaders.
- Coordinate and integrate the factory 2.OX/Operational Excellence strategy to build capability and drive consistent 2.OX/Operational Excellence deployment.

Main Responsibilities
- Drive the 2.OX/Operational Excellence implementation by supporting the factory manager, functional managers and/or 2.OX/Operational Excellence pillar leaders.
- Drive the Promotion Campaign for 2.OX/Operational Excellence in the factory.
- Drive the 2.OX/Operational Excellence deployment into the factory OMP (Operational Master Plan).
- Lead and coach the pillars and pillar working groups (AM, PM, FI teams.)
- Coach the factory manager and functional leaders.
- Integrate 2.OX/Operational Excellence with other initiatives and departments (e.g. QMS).
- Participate in defining and executing the market 2.OX/Operational Excellence masterplan and budget management.
- Lead internal 2.OX/Operational Excellence Assessment of the implementation progress and follow-up action plan execution.
- Calibration of assessments and step/phase audits between pillars.
- Coordinate 2.OX/Operational Excellence trainings at factory level.
- Promote and support cross-fertilization of ideas, knowledge, standards and improvements internally and regionally (benchmark).
- Coordinate the support from external consultants if applicable.
- Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind set towards “Zero Mindset”.
- Communicate 2.OX/Operational Excellence success stories and results.
- Ensure that 2.OX/Operational Excellence work is impacting both results and the culture change towards the factory vision.
- Ensure an overall understanding of the different 2.OX/Operational Excellence pillars and how they integrate through the 2.OX/Operational Excellence master plan to deliver the improved results.
- Give feedback about progress on 2.OX/Operational Excellence to Steering Committee.
- Participate at 2.OX/Operational Excellence factory level MOR’s and BU’s level if requested.
- Integration of the master pillars.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Technology, Productivity and Quality Management or equivalent.
- In depth knowledge of TPM/WCM/Lean/Six -Sigma, continuous improvement methodology and implementation experience
- Train the trainer and facilitator skills
- Good influencing skills
- Good understanding of the business needs and change management
- Problem solving techniques
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- An initiative, responsible, and committed individual
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Possess strong management skills, result oriented and positive work attitude
- A team player and able to work under pressure
- Strong prioritizing skills and ability to multi-task
- Good command in oral and written English and Malay
- Good computer skills / MS Excel / MS PPT
- Good reporting skill

**Salary**: RM18,000.00 - RM22,000.00 per month
